Classical themes such as bear monitoring and population estimation, ecology, behavior and conservation or captive bears were well covered. A special session on trade in bear and bear parts was held. The management of human-bear conflicts was also dealt from a more holistic perspective. Poster presentations on bear physiology and management plan in Poland were shown.
