In September 2019 in cooperation with Tatra National Park, our Institute organized a meeting entitled “A bear from all angles” that at TNP is a part of regular meetings with scientists. The meeting was also a part of the study visit of our project leader, prof. Djuro Huber. Professor Huber presented two lectures on the importance of sampling protocols and introduced the BearHealth project to the participants.
After the meeting, the exchange of experiences and knowledge continued two more days during which prof. Huber was introducing the issues of population health monitoring.
