Our guest and collaborator, prof. David Janz (Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences and Toxicology Centre, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada) presented on “Development and application of physiological stress markers in hair and skin of brown (grizzly) bears” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb.
After the seminar we had a team meeting and started some work on sera samples to be transported to Poland for analyses.
Our team of collaborators includes dr Lana Vrankovic, who is an expert on physiology and is helping us with analyses of fatty acids. Together we organized and prepared bear sera and full blood samples for transport and further analyses. Our work was kindly supervised by prof. Janz.
