Lara will be visiting us from October 4th to 12th. She is an expert in animal behaviour and conservation, with new lines of investigation that focus on using ethology to understand and conserve the Cantabrian brown better. During her stay, she will work on “The Intense Social Life of Solitary Brown Bears,” analysing the aggregation processes of brown bears in the Cantabrian Mountains. She will present a seminar titled “Ethology as a Tool in the Conservation and Study of the Cantabrian Brown Bear” at the Institute of Nature Conservation. Additionally, we will explore opportunities for future research collaborations, including potential postdoctoral fellowships. Welcome, Lara!
