We are pleased to announce that last month, the PhD student from our team Joanna Macur, participated in the national conference on research challenges for young scientists, held from 1st to 18th June 2025. Joanna presented an oral presentation where she discussed preliminary results of her systematic literature review concerning the impact of trace elements on mammalian brain tissue histology. Her study also explored proposed and known neurotoxicity thresholds for wild mammals. The presentation was very well received and sparked widespread interest. It was granted special recognition at the conference. Joanna was also acknowledged with honors for her active participation during the session.
